| Surfing in Phuket, Thailand. Phuket is not the best place for surfing and Phuket Boardriders Surf Club is NOT promoting Phuket as a surfing destination for touring surfers. As long as you are cool in the surf and respectful of local customs, anyone is welcome, but don't complain if there's not much surf or that the waves are soft, because compared to indo, they are. Surfing contests here are for fun, depending on the surf and surfing conditions. Checl the links on this page for more information |

Surfing in Phuket can be fun. While the surf in Phuket and surfing conditions are eratic, if you watch the surf and weather, Phuket has some good surfing beaches. most of the surfing in Thailand is on the island of Phuket, although there is some surf on the mailand, and Koh Samui is also said to have the odd surfable wave. For more information about surfing in Phuket, check out the rest of Phuket Boardriders Surf Club website.
